White shape in 'The Pits' at Nottingham Galleries

This picture taken at the Galleries of Justice in Nottingham shows an interesting white shape apparently by the door frame (c) Mel

Betty Believer says: This is a very interesting picture which was taken in the doorway of one of the most unpleasant cells in the prison area - there must have been several prisoners who underwent tragic and painful deaths. If you look carefully at the materialisation it has the shape of a hand with a thumb at the top.

Sarah Skeptic says: Whilst unusual it is likely that this is some sort of moisture in the air or a strange shaped particle close to the camera being illuminated by the flash. The image may look like a hand if you have an active imagination but it could be interpreted as many things.
