Face on font

This old font is in the Cafe Rene, Gloucester. This picture appears to be showing a face on it. However this is just a trick of the light causing a pareidolia. This is a type of illusion or misperception involving a vague or obscure stimulus being perceived as something clear and distinct and is put forward as an explanation for several apparitions. The inset shows the font from another angle.
